Lisa Guernsey, director of the Early Education Initiative at New America, gave a presentation On March 30, 2010 outlining the need for a new social contract for education -- one that focuses on the primary years and provides all children with access to a public education starting at age 3.

Her presentation highlighted recommendations from A Next Social Contract for the Primary Years of Education, a report by Guernsey and Sara Mead that is part of a series for the Next Social Contract Initiative at New America.
